Introduction of the first car care products

Due to his knowledge of care products, Stephan Baum decided to add a small selection of care products to the KRÜGER Moto-Parts range. Initially, this included the manufacturers ChemTools and ValetPro.

2018

Expansion of the product range

Once it became clear that this sector would have an exciting future within the company, the product range was expanded to include the manufacturers Meguiar's and Soft99, and preparations were made to open a retail store in a vacant part of the building.

2019

Retail store opens

On approximately 150 sqm, KRÜGER GmbH opens the retail store Chemical Shark, making it the largest specialty store exclusively for car care in Germany. At launch, around 250 products are available. These can be tested on-site, and experts Oliver R. Meyer and Stephan Baum, who have significantly expanded their knowledge in recent months, are available for assistance. Also, in 2019, the online shop Chemical-Shark.de and the YouTube channel @ChemicalShark were launched.

Gtechniq

Two major manufacturers in the detailing industry have chosen Chemical Shark as their exclusive distributor for Germany & Austria.

Gtechniq is a company specializing in the development and distribution of high-tech surface coatings for vehicles. P&S Detailing Products is a U.S.-based company headquartered in Hayward, California, that has been developing and producing high-quality car care products for professional detailers and private customers since 1961. P&S is particularly well known for "Bead Maker," a spray sealant appreciated for its high gloss and easy application.

With ShineMate, the growing team adds another manufacturer of polishing machines, offering affordable devices in both the cordless and corded polisher segments. The Asian manufacturer chooses Chemical-Shark.de as its exclusive distributor.

Detail Passion: Polishing Pads and Microfiber Products

Although Detail Passion has been an integral part of KRÜGER GmbH since 2019, the launch of the Therminator polishing pads in 2023 marks an important milestone.

Therminator polishing pads are specialized polishing sponges made from thermally stable foam. This construction ensures that the pads maintain their compression hardness even at high speeds, providing consistent polishing performance. The optimized cell structure allows for an even distribution of polish, preventing unwanted dry buffing. Introduction of the Dynabrade DB8

Together with Renny Doyle, the U.S. company Dynabrade developed the DB8 polisher. In Europe, Chemical-Shark.de is one of the first specialized retailers to offer this machine. To support its market launch, several videos were published on the YouTube channel. In October, the machine was extensively tested during a workshop in Limburg.

The Dynabrade DB8 stands out because it combines forced rotation with an orbital motion, ensuring consistent power transfer while minimizing hologram formation. With its powerful 1,000-watt motor, variable speed range, and 6.8 mm throw, it is ideal for precise work on both delicate and heavily used paint surfaces.
