Waterless, Rinseless, or Just Foam?
In recent days, customers have been asking us how to take care of their cars during the winter months. Cold fingers on one side or a dirty car on the other are common concerns. Well, we have the perfect combination for you: the right washing method, the right equipment, Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine, and P&S Beadmaker.
Washing Without Cold Fingers in Your Own Garage?
With Optimum No Rinse, you can wash your car without rinsing. There are several methods for this so-called rinseless car wash. Here is our preferred method:
1) Mix Optimum No Rinse with water (30 ml per 1-2 liters) and apply it to the vehicle using a pump sprayer or foam sprayer. Let it sit for about 5 minutes. Apply just enough to mist the surface without dripping.
2) Wash the car using a mixture of Optimum No Rinse and water (60 ml per 20 liters). The best way to do this is with a sponge or wash mitt. Work in straight lines from top to bottom or front to back. Flip the sponge and check for dirt; rinse it out if necessary. A damp sponge is sufficient—excessive water is not needed.
3) Spray Beadmaker onto the slightly damp vehicle and dry it. For maximum shine and protection, apply Beadmaker again to the dried paint and buff with a microfiber towel.
The polymer components in Optimum No Rinse encapsulate dirt particles, preventing scratches during washing. As the name suggests, this method is rinseless—meaning no rinsing is required. Only a few liters of water are needed, and the entire process can be carried out in the warmth of your garage. With a little practice, it can be completed in just 20 minutes. Beadmaker protects the paint from dirt, ice, and salt while ensuring water beads off, making the next cleaning significantly easier. Additionally, it gives the paint an outstanding shine.
Please note: The rinseless car wash method is only suitable for moderately dirty vehicles. If your car is heavily or extremely dirty, a traditional wash is necessary.
