Original support pad for the Flex PXE 80 mini polisher. The support pad features a 30mm hook-and-loop attachment and is ideal for the eccentric and rotary applications of the Flex PXE. Differences between the 30mm, 50mm, and 75mm support pads Flex continues to provide the PXE 80 sets with a 30mm support pad, using 40mm polishing pads, which may lead to some instability as these pads do not stick securely to the sides of the support pad. The 75mm support pad is not recommended for use with eccentric applications due to the high stress on the eccentric weight; however, many users override this with the appropriate safety pin, making use of it possible nevertheless. The new dampened 50mm support pad can be used both rotatively and eccentrically, but not with 30 or 40mm polishing pads, as there is a risk of damaging the pad and having the support pad contact the paint. Therefore, we strongly recommend using compatible polishing pads for the respective support pad.
