Hence, in its naming, we use three descriptors that outline its functionalities: paint cleaner, gloss polish, and problem solver. Prima Car Care even goes a step further with the slogan "use it once and it’s your new best friend." To explain the operation and advantages of Prima Amigo, we need a bit more text below. Prima Amigo: Mild Paint Cleaner Prima Amigo contains cleaning agents that gently remove oxidation, contaminants, dead paint, and deeply embedded dirt. This performance is achieved completely free from abrasives, meaning no grinding agents that would wear away the clear coat. It’s also suitable for removing mineral deposits like water spots. Application on car paint can be done with a hand polishing pad like the Detail Passion Puck or a dual-action polisher using a soft to medium-hard foam pad at a maximum medium speed. Any excess Prima Amigo can be polished off with a soft polishing cloth. Degreasing is usually not necessary, as the polymer-based color refreshment is compatible with common spray sealants, waxes, and liquid sealants. However, if a solvent-based long-term sealant is to be applied after cleaning, degreasing should be done as usual.
