When it comes to leather care, it quickly becomes evident that ordinary microfiber cloths can be too harsh - technically referred to as "abrasive" - for cleaning or drying leather. Leather, whether finished, naturally tanned, or untreated, should ideally be dried with highly absorbent cotton towels or terry cloth made from 100% cotton. Cotton is gentle on wet leather and, with proper use, does not leave micro-scratches. It effectively loosens dirt and allows for the sustainable removal of dissolved dirt particles. With a second cloth, you can then dry the leather. The cloth can equally be used for plastics or plastic surfaces. Additionally, it is great for polishing or cleaning metal and other stained components. The Pike marks a new era for the Detail Passion team. Recognizing the significant potential for improvement in microfiber cleaning and polishing products, we decided to develop a completely new cloth. Instead of relying on overseas manufacturers, we sought our fortune in Germany. We have been offering these cloths in consistent quality for years and maintain excellent to friendly relations with our production partners. ... But! When we commit to something, it’s not just on the side. While working, we noticed that there’s always room for improvement. After an extensive search, we found a production facility in Germany that was willing to listen and implement our observations and expectations into a specialized fabric. Pike is our first and currently only microfiber cloth made in Germany. We intentionally kept it slightly smaller, as the usual 40 x 40cm size was always a bit too large for interior cleaning tasks. Since we oversee the manufacturing process ourselves, we can soon present more products based on this fiber. 100% Detail Passion: Honest, transparent, and fair Those who know us understand that we operate with 100% customer focus.
