A clean, smooth surface ensures optimal adhesion of the paint protection film or stone chip protection film. The gel should be evenly applied to the area to be wrapped or directly on the adhesive side of the film. It reduces friction and allows for precise positioning of the film without immediate adhesion. This enables adjustments until perfect alignment is achieved. After placing the film, excess gel should be worked out using a squeegee from the center to the edges, ensuring no bubbles or moisture remain under the film.
