The new Hybrid Wool Pad, marketed under the wild name "Angry Red Lake Pad", impresses with extreme cutting power while delivering a high-gloss finish. The structure features a powerful hook-and-loop backing, a heat-resistant cooling pre-polymer foam interface, followed by a blend of 100% lambswool with infused nano-polyester foam. This heat-resistant high-performance polishing pad can be used with rotary, random orbital, and forced rotation polishers.

The blue foam interface has an approximate height of 9mm, with the Hybrid Wool layer around 6mm, resulting in an overall height of 15mm. The used foams and adhesives are solvent-resistant. Furthermore, the polishing pad stands out due to its exceptional durability and resilience. It is perfect for high-performance polishers such as Flex, Rupes, or ShineMate.

Typical applications of the Hybrid Wool "Angry Red Lake Pad" range from very fast cutting and removal of significant paint defects to one-step polishing and orange peel removal. The polishing pad is ideal for use with free-spinning random orbital polishers like the Rupes LHR15 Mark series, the Flex XFE series, or forced rotation polishers like the Flex XCE or Rupes LK900 Mille. By using it with rotary polishers, the material removal rate can even be increased, enabling the removal of orange peel. With the stable hybrid wool construction, no energy is wasted due to flapping fibers when used with random orbital polishers. The pad is compatible with all modern polishes from brands such as Sonax, Meguiars, Koch Chemie, 3D, and Effectum.

The US manufacturer holds a patent for the blend and manufacturing process of lambswool and infused foam. The polishing pad is initially produced for 75mm and 125mm backing plates. The 125mm version features a center hole for easier mounting and improved cooling.
