Gtechniq Aero Coat C0v2 is a specialized SiO2 ceramic coating for sports and racing cars. Its main feature is to prevent the adhesion and accumulation of dirt particles and other foreign bodies on racing vehicles. In motorsport, it is crucial to minimize attachments during race operation, as they can lead to significant disadvantages, such as reduced visibility, lower cooling performance, loss of balance, and aerodynamic changes.

Gtechniq Aero Coat Is Becoming Increasingly Popular.
Although Aero Coat C0v2 was explicitly developed for racing, its long durability of about 2 years also makes it perfect for everyday vehicles. Aero Coat C0v2 is particularly suitable for gelcoats (hard coatings for composites like GRP, CFRP) due to its formulation. Thus, Aero Coat C0v2 is also used in sports aircraft, quads, boats, and caravans.
Extreme Water Repellency, High Smoothness, Universally Usable
Aero Coat C0v2 is characterized by high hydrophobicity, demonstrated by a contact angle of 110 degrees, good gloss, and a flexible material hardness of 6h. C0v2 can be used as a standalone product or as a topping for other permanent Gtechniq coatings.
Compared to our other coatings, Aero Coat C0v2 is relatively challenging to apply. The product is very viscous and requires significantly more effort when removing residues. A minimum of 10 MF1 ZeroR microfiber cloths is recommended for application.

The following short guide is only intended as a general hint. Ceramic coatings are complex to apply and should not be attempted by beginners without training.
- Wear protective gloves during application.
- Shake well before use and do not apply in direct sunlight.
- Apply the product to the included AP2 microfiber applicator pad. After each application, close the bottle and store it in a cool, dark place.
- Distribute C0v2 in areas of maximum 1sqm using a crosshatch technique.
- Allow C0v2 to sit for 2-3 minutes and remove the excess with an MF1 microfiber cloth, then polish the area to a high gloss with another microfiber cloth MF6 or MF1.
- Ensure that all used cloths are quickly rotated so that the coating in the cloth does not partially harden.
- Check the polished spot with a paint inspection light and promptly polish out any overlooked excess.
- Allow the coating to cure for 12 hours before moving the vehicle or exposing it to environmental influences.
- C0v2 should be stored cool and dry.
- Consume within 3 months after opening.

Für Rennteams unverzichtbar
Die Tatsache, dass es bei Formel-1-Teams im Einsatz ist, hat mich überzeugt. Nach einer Saison ist der Schutz immer noch stark, und der Pflegeaufwand minimal. Optimal für professionelle Ansprüche.

Perfekte Formel-1-Qualität
Diese Beschichtung wird aus gutem Grund von Profiteams genutzt. Auch bei regelmäßiger Beanspruchung ist der Schutz grandios, und die Reinigung ist in wenigen Minuten erledigt. Verarbeitung ist etwas zähflüssig, aber problemlos machbar.

Hervorragender Schutz
Die Beschichtung hält, was sie verspricht. Gerade im Rennsportumfeld ist die einfache Reinigung von Öl, Teer und anderen Rückständen ein großer Vorteil. Beeindruckend, wie gut der Lack nach einer ganzen Saison noch aussieht.
