While it may seem like a simple standard product, Gtechniq has tested various versions in their detailing studio, Gtechniq Works, during product development to find the perfect combination of microfiber, foam core, and size. This effort pays off, as the AP5 offers an alternative to the popular AP2 applicator, ensuring faster application on large surfaces.

"Ceramic Buff Splitted" by "Detail Passion" is a special version of the Ceramic Buff towel series. Ceramic Buff Splitted is made from a highly absorbent terry fiber and features an ultrasound cut edge. It is specifically designed for polishing off excess oily ceramic coatings and toppings. As the performance of the base layer of two-layer ceramic coatings like Gtechniq Crystal Serum increases, removing and polishing off toppings can be time-consuming and challenging. This is due to the base layer causing a "sweating reaction" or beading of the solvent, which must be completely removed and polished for a crystal-clear finish. Ceramic Buff Splitted: Special Microfiber Cloth for Two-Layer Ceramic Coatings Ceramic Buff Splitted simplifies the polishing of "sweating" ceramic coatings, especially with toppings or sacrificial layers. Ceramic Buff Pearl is also suitable as a secondary cloth after leveling the ceramic coating, thereby minimizing the consumption of microfiber cloths during the application process. The cloth is lint-free and made from a very soft fiber blend of 70% polyester and 30% polyamide. Ceramic Buff Splitted is excellent for ceramic coatings from brands like Modesta, CarPro, Gyeon, Gtechniq, Servfaces, Artdeshine, Diamond ProTech, and Nanolex. Gentle All-Round Cloth for Optimal Exterior and Interior Car Care The specially soft and absorbent fiber of Ceramic Buff Splitted is also perfect for polishing waxes, removing oily and lubricant polishes, and spray sealants. Gtechniq Panel Wipe PW is a preparatory surface cleaner for paints that perfectly prepares the surface for subsequent chemically bonding coatings based on ceramic, natural, or other synthetic components. Panel Wipe PW removes all polishing residues such as polishing oils, lubricants, and other contaminations that could negatively impact a sealant. Paint cleaner for subsequent ceramic coatings Promotes the chemical bonding of sealants Free from fragrances and colorants Economical, highly concentrated application PW is a mixture of ultra-pure alcohols and solvents designed to dissolve, bind, and remove polishing residue while evaporating afterwards. PW leaves a surface that is up to 100% decontaminated. Unlike competitor products, PW contains no color or fragrance additives. The application of PW differs from competitor products primarily in that Panel Wipe is sprayed onto a microfiber cloth rather than directly on the paint, which is then wiped down. Consequently, Panel Wipe is significantly more economical to use than other paint cleaners or degreaser control sprays. The new version v2 of Panel Wipe evaporates faster than the previous version, which had a long evaporation time that was somewhat too strong for very sensitive paints.
