EXOv5 is, as the name suggests, the 5th generation of Gtechniq's ceramic coating EXO. EXO, also known as "Ultra Durable Hydrophobic Coating," has been recognized for years as an extremely water-repellent, highly smooth, and glossy ceramic coating for automotive paints. The latest version sets new standards in coating technology, boasting more than a 40% improvement in dirt repellency, an incredible contact angle of 115 degrees (extreme beading effect), a significant increase in gloss, extreme paint smoothness, and an even further simplified application.

Latest Nanotechnology for Ceramic Paint Protection
The development of EXOv5 took more than 3 years. The result of extensive formulations, laboratory, and practical tests is a coating that offers both private users as well as professional detailers and car care experts a level of performance previously considered unimaginable. In both individual disciplines and overall ratings, Gtechniq EXOv5 exceeds all expectations. Gtechniq uses its own raw materials and additives for EXOv5 and deliberately distances itself from the supposed hype surrounding graphene, nanofibers (borophene, nanopowders). In contrast to the pressure for marketing buzzwords, they focused on development with the experience of a market leader. Under the guidance of chemist Lee Kennedy, the test protocol named after him, the Lee-Kennedy Test Protocol, was developed. This test protocol achieves a first-time correlation between lab tests and field tests on trial vehicles. Through this protocol, EXOv5 was specifically optimized for dirt and oil repellency. EXOv5 has been setting the benchmark for dirt repellency for years; the bar is now significantly raised.
Single-layer Coating or Topping for Crystal Lacquer C1, Crystal Serum Light and Crystal Serum Ultra
EXOv5 can be used as a single-layer coating or as a topping for other Gtechniq coatings. Even as a single-layer coating, EXOv5 delivers all— and more— protective effects than previously achieved with Crystal Serum Light and two layers of EXOv4. When EXOv5 is applied over Crystal Serum Light, the longevity is significantly extended. Anticlogging prevents the coating from clogging and losing its protective effects due to dirt accumulation. As a result, EXOv5 shows significant dirt beading and sheeting. In general, the application of EXOv5 follows the familiar application method of EXOv4. However, there is no need for re-distribution or intensive wiping, as the modern solvents prevent any haze that would need to be polished away.

In general, applicating EXOv5 should take place in a garage or indoor space. The surface must be polished and cleaned. First, degrease the surfaces immediately before coating with Gtechniq Panel Wipe PW or another suitable degreaser. Ensure adequate lighting to inspect treated areas. Wear protective gloves and establish sufficient ventilation. Drip about 5-10 drops onto the supplied AP2 applicator. Apply EXOv5 either in circular motions or in a cross-hatch pattern. For a particularly even application, we recommend starting in circular motions followed immediately by a cross-hatch motion, finishing in the direction of travel. Wait 1-2 minutes and polish EXOv5 to a high shine with light pressure. We recommend firstly a rough wipe, called leveling, and then a circular polish with low pressure. Check the surface again after 5-15 minutes and polish if necessary. Process all surfaces to be coated in the same manner. If the microfiber towels become too saturated, use a fresh set of towels. If you have experience with EXOv4, note that EXOv5 flashes off faster and is more chemically resistant. Observe the following curing times if treating a surface previously coated with Crystal Serum Light, Crystal Serum Ultra, Crystal Lacquer C1, or EXOv5:
- EXOv5 over Crystal Serum Light: > 1 hour
Allow Crystal Serum Light to cure for at least one hour before applying EXOv5. Crystal Serum Light must be fully processed and polished. - EXOv5 over Crystal Serum Ultra: > 1 hour
Allow Crystal Serum Ultra to cure for at least one hour before applying EXOv5. Crystal Serum Ultra must be fully processed and polished. - EXOv5 over Crystal Lacquer C1: > 4 hours, but < 12 hours
Allow Crystal Lacquer C1 to cure for at least four hours, but not longer than 12 hours before applying EXOv5. Crystal Lacquer C1 must be fully processed and polished. - EXOv5 over EXOv5: > 1 hour
If layering EXOv5, allow it to cure for at least 1 hour between layers. Each layer must be fully processed and polished.

Wer nicht oft waschen möchte, ist hier richtig. Die Versiegelung hält den Lack sauber und glänzend, ohne viel Aufwand.

Die Versiegelung ist nicht nur günstig, sondern auch extrem effektiv. Besser als Art De Shine Nano Graphene NGCv3, vor allem in Sachen Schmutzabweisung.
