Crystal Serum Light, often referred to as Gtechniq CSL, is a ceramic coating designed for professional and experienced end-users ("Prosumer"). This product is derived from the world-renowned Crystal Serum Ultra, which can only be applied through certified Gtechniq Accredited Detailers. CSL provides about 80% of the protective performance of Crystal Serum Ultra. Unlike Crystal Serum Ultra, Crystal Serum Light can be removed with a polishing machine, which is not possible with Crystal Serum Ultra.
Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra and its smaller brother, Crystal Serum Light, are established terms in the detailing industry for extremely durable, high-gloss, ultra-smooth, and crystal-clear ceramic coatings that bond chemically. In contrast to other ceramic coatings, Crystal Serum Light retains the gloss achieved through polishing, without dulling or roughening the surface. Cleaning the vehicle becomes a breeze due to its incredible paint smoothness and water repellency.
The chemically bonded ceramic layer protects the vehicle's paint from chemicals and environmental influences in the pH range of 2 to 12. It is resistant to temperatures from -40°C to +250°C. Crystal Serum Light achieves a material hardness of 9H. This hardness allows contaminants such as resin, tar, and water spots to be removed without damaging the paint protection and the paint itself.

The following quick guide is only to be understood as a basic note. Ceramic coatings are complex to apply and should not be performed by beginners without proper training.
- Crystal Serum Light must be applied in a room or hall and allowed to cure for at least 12 hours after application. Crystal Serum Light must not be applied in direct sunlight.
- The ambient temperature should be between 5°C and 25°C.
- Shake the bottle well before use. Protective gloves, included in the package, must be worn during application.
- The paint must be in good, decontaminated condition. Any paint defects must be addressed through polishing steps before applying Crystal Serum Light.
- Before processing Crystal Serum Light, cleaning the vehicle's paint with Gtechniq Panel Wipe and Gtechniq MF1 microfiber cloths is recommended.
- Use the dropper to dampen the application pad AP3 to ensure even distribution.
- During the processing of Crystal Serum Light, close the bottle and set it aside. Do not hold the bottle in your hand, as this could cause premature curing.
- Apply Crystal Serum Light with the application pad in sections of 0.5 to 1 sqm using a cross-hatch method.
- Remove excess with a fresh MF1 microfiber cloth. Polish the surface to a high gloss with another fresh MF1 microfiber cloth, and inspect the paint surface with a paint control light. Any remaining excess must also be polished out with a microfiber cloth.
- If you wish to enhance Crystal Serum Light with EXO or C2 afterwards, allow it to cure for at least 2 hours.
- Store Crystal Serum Light in a protected, cool place.
- Opened bottles should be used within 3 months.

Habe es von einem Detailer aufbringen lassen
Das Zeug ist der Hammer. Ich habe mir das Coating zusammen mit EXO von einem Aufbereiter, den Chemical Shark empfohlen hat, auf mein Fahrzeug nach gründlicher Lackaufbereitung aufbringen lassen. Der Lack glänzt wie eine Speckschwarte. Das Auto ist viel einfacher zu reinigen. Danke für die Empfehlung. Super!
