The new HDO CCS pads from market leader Lake Country combine two of the best technologies for high-quality polishing work. HDO pads have been regarded as the unrivaled benchmark in the industry for years due to their combination of durable foam materials, heat dissipation, and pressure stability. HDO stands for "Heavy Duty Orbital," indicating that this technology was primarily developed for modern dual-action and forced rotation polishing machines.
Another key technology is provided by Lake Country with CCS, meaning Collapsed Cell Structure. The surface of CCS is equipped with small pockets that feature a closed cell structure in their interior through a special process, even though the foam of the polishing pad is open-pored. This property allows for significantly more polish efficiency when using CCS pads. The polish penetrates into the pocket but not into the polishing pad, enabling it to be processed for a much longer period. At the same time, the cell structure is better cooled, and the pad does not dry out due to drying polish. With the new HDO CCS pads, both technologies are available in a single pad series. The US manufacturer surprises the market as the manufacturing cost is comparable to that of "regular" HDO pads.

The HDO CCS Pads Are Available in 3 Different Foams
- Blue: Designed for maximum cut, removal of scratches, swirls, and oxidation. Perfect for quick paint defect corrections.
- Orange: Medium cut, removal of medium paint defects with good finishing.
- Black: Black Finishing, very soft foam for high-gloss polishes and for applying and processing wax and sealants.
