You might think that Ledermax LMX #1.1 is an enhanced or upgraded version of Ledermax LMX #1.0. However, this is not the case. Ledermax LMX Cleaner #1.1 was developed as an intensive cleaner in a highly concentrated form specifically for heavily soiled leather. The amazing thing about this product is that, despite its unmatched cleaning power, it has a pH value of 7.8, making it nearly pH-neutral and therefore does not damage the top coat, that is, the outer layer of leather dyeing or leather finishing. The special formulation also does not dry out the leather, ensuring it remains supple after cleaning and is ideally prepared for leather care with Ledermax Conditioner #2.0.

To avoid damaging the top coat, that is, the outer surface of the leather finish, the Ledermax LMX Cleaner is designed for use with an open-pore cleaning sponge. The Austrian leather guru and developer of the Ledermax cleaning and care series, Herwig Grabner, has demonstrated through intensive scientific tests the risks of cleaning leather with microfiber cloths and so-called magic sponges. Grabner therefore recommends cleaning leather with a sponge, lukewarm water, appropriate cleaners depending on the level of soiling, and drying the leather with gentle cotton cloths.

Ledermax LMX Cleaner #1.1 is developed for cleaning heavily soiled leathers, Alcantara, and faux leather (also known as "vegan leather"). The considerably milder Ledermax LMX Cleaner #1.0 is designed for newer, lightly soiled, or Ledermax LMX Conditioner #2.0 cared leathers. Ledermax LMX Cleaner #1.1 is not suitable for nubuck and suede.

Shake well before use! Moisten a soft, clean cotton cloth or an LMX leather cleaning sponge with LMX Cleaner #1.1. Clean the leather with circular motions and some pressure from seam to seam. Always clean entire areas and never rub in spots. We recommend drying with a fresh cotton cloth immediately after cleaning. After cleaning, the dry leather must be treated. Use the LMX Conditioner #2.0 for this purpose.
