Wash buckets for hand washing your vehicle are associated with the US manufacturer Grit Guard Inc. However, Grit Guard's invention is not the wash bucket itself, but their eponymous dirt sieve, which prevents the stirring up of dirt particles, allowing for a scratch-free hand wash. Grit Guard® bucket inserts are designed for standardized US wash buckets and therefore fit perfectly into the new buckets from Magic Bucket.

The Magic Bucket is not a completely new wash bucket. It closely resembles the US wash buckets that have been produced by many manufacturers worldwide for decades. However, it should be noted that Magic Bucket is exclusively produced for car care and therefore has some special features in terms of quality, compatibility, and design.

With the Magic Bucket, we are relying on a new European manufacturer who solves this issue for us by producing high-quality buckets with a wide color palette. Accessories from Grit Guard and Detail Guardz sold by us fit perfectly to the buckets. 3.5 and 5-gallon wash buckets are available in many interesting colors directly from stock.

When deciding on the right size of the wash bucket, many factors must be taken into account. Vehicle size, washing method, washing frequency, and not least the space in the car or trunk must be considered. Therefore, we cannot give a fixed recommendation or rule for this question. If you wash your car at a wash box, you should choose a size that fits in the trunk. We recommend preparing the shampoo water at home or in your garage and then sealing the wash bucket with a lid for the ride to the wash box.
