Optimum No Rinse ONR Version 5 Wash & Shine is a car wash solution that works wonders for motorcycles, private planes, or boats as well. This product was specifically designed for washing vehicles without the need to rinse off. The polymer formula of Optimum No Rinse - short for ONR - forms a protective layer on the paint, encapsulating dirt particles. Light dirt can thus be removed without scratching and without rinsing the vehicle.

How to Use: Rinse-less Car Wash with Optimum No Rinse

Optimum No Rinse was developed in California due to legal regulations limiting water usage per car wash. Therefore, anyone wishing to wash their car had to do so rinseless, meaning without rinsing off the wash water. The "rinseless wash" approach involves using multiple microfiber towels soaked in Optimum No Rinse wash solution to clean the car and then drying it.

To loosen dirt beforehand, an Optimum No Rinse solution can be sprayed on. Many rinse-less washing methods exist, but we recommend using two buckets of water, multiple wash mitts, and drying towels with Optimum No Rinse.

Differences Between Waterless and Rinseless Car Wash

Essentially, Optimum No Rinse can also be used as a concentrate for "waterless washing." This method does not require wash buckets and only involves using towels and a spray cleaner on the dirt. Ultimately, you should decide when to perform a full wash, a rinseless wash, or a waterless wash. For heavy dirt, it's always best to do a full wash with foam pre-wash, removal of brake dust and tar, and hand washing. Light dirt can be removed waterless, and medium dirt can be handled rinseless.

Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine or Wash & Wax
