Wheels are among the most stressed areas of a car. Here, the strong adhesion of brake dust and road grime not only significantly affects the appearance but can also quickly lead to irreversible material damage. This problem is now manageable with Sonax’s easy-to-use aerosol sealant. After cleaning, simply spray the product onto the dry wheel and let it air dry. What remains is a highly water-repellent protective barrier against brake dust, salt, and road grime.

Perfect Wheel Care for Winter: Sonax XTREME Wheel Protection Sealant

In winter, protecting wheels from salt and snow is essential. High-quality aluminum wheels are increasingly used even for winter tires. In our opinion, the German manufacturer Sonax has achieved a significant breakthrough here. The product provides a sealing comparable to ceramic coatings, naturally with a shorter duration of action but equal dirt and water repellent performance.

Clean the wheels beforehand with a wheel cleaner (e.g., XTREME Wheel Cleaner PLUS). Allow the wheels to dry completely. Carefully remove any remaining water from all grooves and recesses (e.g., recesses of the wheel bolts). Shake the can. Generously spray the product onto the completely dry wheel – do not wipe afterward. Allow the sealant to fully cure (at least one hour). Do not move the vehicle during this time and do not touch treated surfaces. Do not use on warm surfaces or in direct sunlight. Test in an inconspicuous area before use. The optimal processing temperature is at least 18°C. The sealed surface should not be touched, as this would impair its performance.
